call for presentations
Idaho's Local Transportation Conference 2021 sponsored by the Idaho Association of Highway Districts (IAHD) and the Idaho Association of County Engineers and Road Supervisors (IACERS) is a statewide conference providing training to highway district personnel, county engineers, road supervisors and our partners. Our theme this year is “Designing a Roadmap to Success.”
Our 2021 conference is scheduled November 9-11, 2021 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.
This year’s conference will focus on bringing the most innovative techniques and information in the transportation field to our attendees. Speaker presentations will offer new ideas, insights and strategies to inspire and challenge our audience. Our sessions are designed to empower attendees to put into practice what they learn, interact with each other and find inspiration. The conference provides an exciting forum for the exchange of practical knowledge and new strategies.
We are currently seeking submissions for presentations and we invite you to consider sending a proposal. The conference is an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and educate others.
Presentations for 60-minute breakout sessions are being accepted. Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted. We hope to finalize the schedule by June 1st.
Examples of topics might include, but are not limited to:
- Best practices in road and bridge engineering and maintenance
- Safety protocols
- Ethics for elected officials
- Reporting and auditing
- COVID time off rules
- Employment law
- Supervisor training
Submissions should be made online by completing the form below and must be complete with all requested material to be considered by the committee.
Thank you for the work you do. We hope you will consider submitting a proposal. If you know of others who might be interested in presenting, please forward this invitation.
